Accounts Assistant - VR/29083
A temporary, 3-6 month position is available for an Accounts Assistant based in Aberdeen. The role involves working from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities include managing the Purchase and Sales Ledger, credit control, and banking, along with collaborating with and supporting various departments.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- The Accounts Assistant will assist the Finance Department with tasks related to the purchase and sales ledger, banking, credit control, and other duties as needed. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic and capable of collaborating with individuals from various departments.
Essential Functions:
- Credit control.
- Matching bank payments to receipts.
- Monthly supplier statement reconciliation.
- Preparing and processing of weekly payment runs.
- Assisting with month end close processes.
- Providing ad hoc support to the Accounting and Reporting Manager.
- Other ad hoc tasks and office duties as required.
