Join a successful oil and gas E&P company headquartered in Aberdeen. The Contracts Analyst will manage a small suite of allocated contracts from the contract portfolio and will be responsible for all stages of the associated contract to close process.

     

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the PSCM Manager on a wide range of delegated tasks.
  • Organising monthly contracts meetings, preparing content, and taking minutes.
  • Managing and maintaining supplier documentation.
  • Supporting the Contracts Specialist with Invitation to Tender (ITT) and pre-qualification work.
  • Preparing and issuing all Contract Call-off POs and associated PO amendments.
  • Supporting the PSCM Team with RFQs and pre-qualification enquiries.
  • Supporting the Procurement Specialist on sourcing issuance of POs as required.
  • Managing all new vendor form requests.
  • Facilitating resolution of invoice queries.
  • Supporting the PSCM Team with internal and external contract audit reviews.
  • Updating contracts folders and Maximo database as required.
  • Assisting the PSCM Team with document approvals through Adobe.
  • Maintaining evidence of insurance cover files for all contracts.
  • Running regular Power-BI reports on contract portfolio status.
  • Liaising with colleagues in legal, insurance, tax/treasury and finance as required on any issues to support PSCM Team.

     

Our client is seeking a candidate with the following skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar contracts role, preferably gained in the oil & gas/energy industry.
  • Knowledge of ‘Contract to Close and ‘Purchase to Pay’ process in operating and/or project execution.
  • Knowledge of Maximo and/or SAP procurement systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Good team working skills.
  • A committed self-starter with demonstrable ability to plan and prioritise.
  • Displays high standards of ethical and professional behaviour.
  • A relevant degree qualification.
  • Ambition and drive to attain MCIPS accreditation.
