Permanent opportunity with a global energy company working in the Planning and Performance Management Team. Responsible for supporting performance management processes and reports aligned with strategic and budget objectives, this involves preparing assets for optimal business management, collaborating with the Accounting Team on annual plans, budgets, and quarterly forecasts.

     

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the Annual Budget and Reforecast Exercises, ensuring they align with internal strategy and manage the flow of economic and operational data.
  • Generating monthly reports on key metrics (production, OPEX, CAPEX, ABEX) with variance analysis, presenting findings to the Asset Team and comparing performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitoring operational data to ensure accuracy in E&P consolidation tools.
  • Collaborating with the Finance Team to align actual data with global financial mapping criteria.
  • Developing management control guidelines and cost allocation criteria, overseeing indicators for management and proposing efficiency improvement measures.
  • Preparing and presenting standard business performance management scorecards.
  • Assisting in creating business result reports, ad-hoc studies, and periodic information preparation (annual reports, quarterly Q&A).
  • Handling intercompany contracts for EIG and corporate submission.
  • Facilitating the creation and approval of authorisation of investment proposal.

      

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Experience in accounting, performance management or planning in the E&P industry.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organised, and self-motivated with a strong ability to complete tasks efficiently and on time.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint, with a knack for learning new systems.
  • Capable of working effectively under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adept at managing in a client-oriented environment.
