Finance & HR Assistant - VR/30390
Join a leading E&P Business in London as an HR and Finance Assistant on a long-term contract. In this role, you will support both the HR and Finance Departments. The ideal candidate should possess extensive generalist HR and payroll experience, along with advanced Excel skills.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Assist and supporting the HR Manager in the automation and configuration of HR policy credentials and employee entitlements in a multi-platform HRIS and payroll systems.
- Key User for HRIS – maintaining HRIS records and instructing payroll for employees.
- Preparing and analysing/interpreting data, producing periodical reports.
- Processing and verifying invoices for payments and prepare files for the periodical payment runs.
- Processing all third party payments in compliance with payment terms.
- Preparing, monitoring and managing prepayments, ensuring they are accurately recorded and applied, and reconcile them at the end of accounting period.
- Investigating and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Other ad hoc support requested by management.
Applicants to this role require
- Demonstratable experience in a similar HR/Payroll role.
- CIPD qualification (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and practices in the UK.
- Experience with BambooHR HRIS or similar SME oriented HRIS systems.
- Experience with payrolling systems.
