As the Finance Manager, you will lead the finance team, ensuring sound financial management and driving improvements across the function. Additionally, you will contribute to the organisation's leadership and direction by providing high-quality financial support.

      

Responsibilities will include:

  • Continuously improving finance systems, working practices, procedures, and effective controls.
  • Overseeing budget setting, control, and sound budget management.
  • Collaborating with the Director of Finance and Corporate Services to prepare 30-year business plans, including stress testing, and any other required financial forecasts.
  • Preparing monthly management accounts and other necessary financial reports.
  • Reporting and managing cash flow and payments.
  • Preparing annual accounts for audit, along with all necessary supporting documentation.
  • Serving as the main contact for External and Internal Auditors.
  • Engaging in continuous training and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
  • Monitoring and managing the performance and development of the Finance Team in line with the performance review process and training plan.
  • Attending Board and Committee meetings as required, deputising for the Director of Finance.
  • Providing information related to specific reports for the board.

      

The ideal applicant will:

  • Offer a relevant qualification or will have worked in a similar level role previously.
