In your role, you’ll be responsible for maximising the sales and profit of your allocated client accounts.

      

You’ll develop and maintain strong relationships with allocated clients and identify further opportunities for sales on an ongoing basis. You’ll also ensure the efficient management of client contracts to the mutual benefit of the client and company.

      

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring customer experience is optimised by responding to customer enquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Identifying opportunities to increase sales and margins.
  • Ensuring a broad understanding of the client's assets and carrying out proactive business development activities.
  • Building and maintaining good client relationships with existing and potential clients on a professional level.
  • Understanding client's individual supply chain needs and any contract opportunities, utilising the wider team's experience where appropriate.
  • Advising the wider team of any new sales opportunities or enquiries for new business.
  • Understanding and meeting quarterly sales targets and KPl's.
  • Presenting results and updates on key clients during sales meetings.
  • Liaising with the wider team to co-ordinate activities, ensuring consistent and efficient delivery of contract obligations to clients.
  • When required, processing orders, expediting and performing other administrative duties to ensure customer service remains at the expected level.

      

Experience/skills required:

  • Previous experience in a similar key account manager, sales, or business development role.
  • High commercial awareness in conducting daily business.
  • Effective organisation and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
