Project Reporting Accountant - VR/29130
Reporting directly to the Corporate Finance Manager, the Project Reporting Accountant will deliver robust and accurate financial and non-financial project data to key stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
- Efficiently managing project recording and reporting for both internal and external projects, encompassing comprehensive financial and non-financial data.
- Collaborating with the Finance Team to facilitate the month-end close process.
- Interacting with Project Managers and budget holders to ensure a clear understanding of project outcomes and implement any necessary actions to address issues.
- Accurate and reliable recording, filing, and reporting of all financial transactions, particularly those reflected in company’s reporting and forecasting tool.
- Leading the preparation, analysis, and reporting of budget and forecasting activities.
- Maintaining active engagement with key stakeholders to update the 5-year model (Excel model) and ensure its ongoing accuracy.
- Creating budget, forecast reports, and board packs.
- Fostering collaborative efforts with stakeholders to provide support for projects, budgets, and forecasts.
- Undertaking additional duties, complete extra tasks, and contribute to ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role.
- Accounting qualification (preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to influence and engage with colleagues as well as external stakeholders.
