Reward (HR) Business Partner - VR/30321

Join a leading E&P business in Aberdeen as Reward Business Partner on a long-term contract basis. Specialist experience is required, as is advanced Excel skills and ideally working knowledge of share schemes.

     

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Advisory Services: Providing expert advice on reward matters to HR Business Partners, Leaders, and Employees.
  • Market Analysis: Assisting the Lead HR Business Partner in examining market trends and analysing data to recommend necessary changes.
  • Competitive Positioning: Ensuring the company maintains a competitive reward package to boost individual, team, and business performance.
  • Campaign Support: Aiding in local and group campaigns such as salary review, bonus calculations, reward statements, and shares, ensuring data integrity and compliance with Group rules and local legislation.
  • Daily Support: Assisting with day-to-day queries and ongoing initiatives and project work.
  • Market Data Maintenance: Maintaining market data and participate in pay and benefit surveys.
  • Data Quality Checks: Performing regular data quality and audit checks.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Conducting data analysis and reporting as required.
  • Database Management: Maintaining file structures and data integrity on the Livelink database.
  • Pension Liaison: Coordinating with the Pensions Department on pension issues as needed.
  • HR Operations Collaboration: Working closely with the HR Operations and Payroll Team to ensure compliance and improve internal reward processes.
  • Policy Updates: Supporting updates on reward policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Job Evaluations: Assisting with job evaluations.
  • Legislative Awareness: Staying updated with legislative changes and industry best practices in reward knowledge.
  • Collaborative Implementation: Working collaboratively with UK HR Teams to implement the company’s benefit and share schemes across the UK.
  • Employee Support: Handling share-related queries from employees.
  • Scheme Management: Assisting in the coordination and management of monthly/annual share schemes.
  • Tax Event Coordination: Preparing data for annual share taxable events in collaboration with the Tax Lead and Payroll Team.
  • Event Coordination: Organising reward roadshows and webinars as needed.
  • Resource Development: Ensuring reward materials and resources are accurate and up to date.

      

Applicants to this role require:

  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a methodical approach and rigorous attention to detail.
  • Well-developed organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • The ability to define problems, analyse data, and identify solutions is essential.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a heavy workload with tight timescales.
  • High level of confidentiality.
  • Focus on value.
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors and Shares schemes is beneficial.
  • Experience in compensation and benefits in an upstream operating environment is desirable.
