In this role, you’ll manage the entire tendering process, from initial enquiry to post-contract completion. This role involves developing comprehensive proposals, detailed costing models, and production schedules, as well as collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects that align with the company’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proposal Development: Crafting high-quality proposals that meet client requirements and showcase the company’s engineering capabilities and innovative approach.
• Cost Modelling: Developing precise and competitive cost models, incorporating a thorough understanding of project requirements, manufacturing costs, and resource needs.
• Project Scheduling: Creating realistic and detailed project execution schedules that support bids and proposals.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Working effectively with various internal teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Operations, to gather necessary inputs and ensure that proposals align with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Bid Management: Overseeing and prioritising incoming RFQs, managing proposals within the CRM system, and ensuring timely submission of all bid documents.
• Risk and Opportunity Management: Identifying and evaluating risks and opportunities throughout the bid process, ensuring robust and compelling proposals.
• Continuous Improvement: Driving enhancements in proposal processes and templates, fostering efficiency and effectiveness in all tendering activities.

About You:

• Experience and Skills: You bring significant experience in a tendering or proposal role within the engineering, oil and gas, or renewables sectors. Strong project management skills, financial acumen, and proficiency with CRM systems like Salesforce are essential.
• Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of engineering scopes, manufacturing processes, mechanical components, hydraulic and electric systems is required. Experience with equipment such as tensioners, reel drive systems, vertical and horizontal lay systems, and winches is highly desirable.
• Educational Background: A degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• Personal Attributes: Strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills and a keen attention to detail. You are proactive, self-motivated, and thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments.
