Assistant Accountant - VR/30111
Full-time, permanent opportunity to work as an Assistant Accountant within a legal practice based locally in Aberdeen. This role requires individuals to have similar experience within a professional services background completing sales ledger, bookkeeping and bank reconciliation duties. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Transactions: Accurately handling the cashbook and sales ledger daily transactions which includes accounts receipts, payments and transfers.
- Bank Reconciliations: Completing the daily and monthly bank reconciliations for funds held.
- Client Ledger Management: Reviewing and working closely with colleagues to ensure client ledgers are accurate and up to date.
- Reporting: Assisting with the monthly financial reporting.
- Credit Control: Assisting with credit control.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar financial role.
- Skills: Strong numerical skills, attention to detail and proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge: A good understanding of accounting principles.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication.
Please note, there is no opportunity to complete further accounting exams/qualifications with this position.
