Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Overseeing and coordinating the annual external audits for UK legal entities and the Group (with a fiscal year-end in August).
• Managing audit processes across all jurisdictions, working closely with international auditors.
• Preparing statutory financial statements in accordance with the relevant GAAP standards.
• Collaborating with the tax department, providing accurate financial data for disclosures and tax filings.
• Responsible for reporting year-end and half-year-end financials to the group.
• Managing potential audit adjustments and reconcile retained earnings.
• Preparing and/or reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Assisting the Finance Team with month-end closing procedures and financial analysis.
