Opportunity to join a reputable energy service company based in Aberdeen on a 6-9-month fixed term contract. This vacancy is best suited to systems-focused applicants with previous experience of supporting Aviation Logistics.

    

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations within the Operations Planning Input Request system, ensuring all data entries are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Inputting names, vantage numbers, mobilisation/demobilisation dates, and other relevant information into the OPIR system with precision and attention to detail.
  • Identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies within the OPIR system in a timely manner, escalating complex issues as necessary.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including client planners, offshore personnel, HR Coordinators, and Logistics Teams, to ensure seamless coordination and communication regarding personnel movements and changes.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all OPIR-related activities, including name changes, seat bookings, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Providing training and support to internal users on the use of the OPIR system, ensuring all users are proficient in its functionalities.
  • Working with the HR Team to identify opportunities for process improvement within HR related workflows, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness e.g. internal HR SharePoint and assisting with system audits.

            

Applicants to this role require

  • Relevant work experience and/or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with ERP systems, preferably within the context of operations planning or logistics.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and find timely resolutions.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with client manning systems, is preferred.
