As the OM & Facilities Contracts Manager, you will be a key player in shaping the strategic contracting landscape of the organisation. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing a robust category management approach, crafting annual procurement plans, and managing the entire contract lifecycle from strategy development to performance management. You will lead the charge in ensuring that all contractors deliver to the highest standards, driving performance improvement and cost-efficiency across the board.

      

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing a strategic category management approach, including creating annual contracting plans and conducting regular category reviews.
  • Leading the post-award contract performance management to ensure optimal contractor delivery.
  • Establishing and managing processes for the full contract lifecycle, from strategy to execution and performance monitoring.
  • Collaborating with key strategic contractors to align on business delivery needs and track performance targets (KPIs).
  • Overseeing the negotiation and finalisation of contracts, ensuring all agreements meet the organisation's quality and governance standards.
  • Managing all aspects of maintenance contracts, including preventative and corrective maintenance, warehouse operations, and shutdown preparations.
  • Driving the implementation and management of MRP systems, optimising inventory management and ensuring seamless integration with maintenance work order management.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Leading the execution of large Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts.

     

About You:

  • Strong background in managing maintenance contracts within the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience overseeing large EPC contracts and implementing MRP systems.
  • Demonstrated commercial and contractual acumen, with a deep understanding of oil and gas supply chain management and regulatory frameworks.
  • A solid educational foundation in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications such as CIPS, CSCP, PMP, or CPSM are highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel offshore as required for business needs.
