Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading negotiations on terms and conditions for tenders, aligning outcomes with business goals while mitigating risks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to prepare and review pre-tender documentation and commercial qualifications.
  • Managing vendor agreements, ensuring compliance with internal policies and handling post-tender contract oversight.
  • Working closely with Legal and Project Teams to address and resolve contractual disputes or legal claims.
  • Ensuring contracts adhere to compliance standards, staying informed of legislative changes and industry regulations.
  • Identifying potential contractual risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard project outcomes.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating framework agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other contractual documents.
  • Overseeing supply chain management by monitoring vendor agreements and coordinating necessary contractual amendments.
  • Conducting commercial analysis on tendered projects to establish performance baselines before transitioning to operations.
  • Providing training and guidance to project teams on risk management and best practices for contract handling.

     

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience in a role with comparable scope, deliverables, complexity, and accountability.
  • Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts and agreements.
  • Strong understanding of legislative requirements and compliance.
  • Advanced commercial and analytical skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of standard contracting principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong relationship management with key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams.
