A leading multi-energy company is seeking an experienced Contracts Partner for a 12-month contract, with the potential for extension. This role is essential for ensuring the effective execution of Decommissioning and Wells contracts and supporting project delivery.

     

As Contracts Partner, you’ll oversee the smooth implementation of contracts, address any issues, and ensure compliance with terms. Responsibilities include updating SCM trackers, collaborating with teams to enhance contract value, and utilising e-procurement systems to maintain an audit trail.

     

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing Category Management strategies in Procurement Planning and Supplier Relationship Management.
  • Overseeing contract execution, resolving contractual issues, and ensuring adherence to terms.
  • Maintaining and updating the SCM tracker weekly, ensuring timely project delivery and effective SCM planning.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to identify commercial synergies and performance improvements.
  • Reviewing contracts for financial and legal risks and develop strong supplier relationships to secure optimal deals.
  • Utilising e-procurement systems to streamline purchasing processes and maintain comprehensive records.
  • Monitoring supplier performance, taking corrective actions as needed, and promoting initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

      

Person Specification:

  • Experience: Significant experience in SCM operations within the oil and gas industry, with proficiency in ERP/EAMS systems like SAP and Maximo.
  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related fields. Certifications such as CIPS, CSCP, PMP, or CPSM are preferred.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of the UKCS supply chain, excellent risk assessment abilities, and experience with SCM systems.
