Join a leading international company as Corporate Accountant! You’ll be a key player in an established and supportive team, driving the preparation, review, and issuance of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. This role is ideal for a recently qualified Accountant with exposure to audit or financial accounting.

    

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Consolidation: Assisting in the financial consolidation process across the Group, including fortnightly capex calls with Senior Management.
  • Investor Reporting: Preparing data for quarterly and annual investor reporting packs.
  • Group Reporting: Consolidating Group figures into management, investor, and statutory reports as required.
  • Accounting Advice: Providing ad-hoc accounting advice to Business Units.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Preparing and reviewing allocated balance sheet reconciliations and performing balance sheet reviews according to month-end timetables.
  • Statutory Accounts: Preparing UK subsidiary statutory accounts, including tagging and tax analysis.
  • Tax Computations: Preparing UK subsidiary corporation tax computations.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Handling country by country reporting and iXBRL tagging of accounts.
  • Payment Approvals: Approving HSBC bank payments, adhering to relevant treasury policies.

     

Experience and qualifications required:

  • Qualified Accountant (CA, ACA, CIMA, or ACCA) with less than 3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Experienced in financial reporting, specifically statutory accounts preparation.
  • Comfortable interacting with various levels within the organisation.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS.
  • Knowledge of SAP FI/CO is desirable.
  • Understanding of UK corporation tax reporting requirements.
