Corporate and Quality Assurance Advisor - VR/30461

Join a global well decommissioning services provider who are currently recruiting for a Corporate and Quality Assurance Advisor. The role is a permanent staff position based in Cove, Aberdeen with requirements for occasional offshore travel.

     

The Corporate and Quality Assurance Advisor’s responsibilities are to include the facilitation and management of the company’s integrated Business Management system to levels that will successfully achieve the requirements of all interested parties including customer, regulatory and certification authorities/providers. The Corporate and Quality Assurance Advisor will report directly to the Senior Corporate Assurance Advisor, with functional reports to Well Engineering and Operations.

      

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Conducting and facilitating BMS Audits and improvement plans.
  • Conducting and facilitating MAH, Rig/Asset Assurance Audits Offshore and Shipyard.
  • Monitoring and supporting the timely close out of BMS reports including non-conformances, lessons learned and management of change.
  • Supporting BMS investigations, root cause analysis and the ongoing monitoring of preventative measures.
  • Facilitating the delivery of corporate assurance knowledge, awareness and competence initiatives.
  • Facilitating independent verification body, approval body, external provider and/or interested party audits and assessment activities.
  • Supporting asset transition plans and assurance activities.
  • Being proactive in the implementation of project assurance plans.
  • Providing support to members of the HSE Team.
  • Supporting and mentoring onshore and offshore personnel.

      

Applicants to this role require…

ESSENTIAL

  • Oil and Gas Industry experience.
  • Offshore Survival.
  • Certified Internal Auditor Training as recognised by IRCA.
  • Minimum 2 yrs. experience in the auditing of QHSE managements systems.
  • Proven experience in the production of process and procedural documentation.
  • Health and Safety Qualification.
  • Environmental Qualification.
  • Investigation and Root Cause Analysis Training.
  • Experience in the use of software for the implementation of an approved MS.

      

DESIRED

  • Health and Safety Qualification at IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent.
  • Certified Lead Auditor Training as recognised by IRCA.
  • Knowledge and experience of well plug and abandonment and/or decommissioning activities.
  • CPD maintained in accordance with relevant Professional Bodies (i.e. CQI, IOSH, IEMA).
