Corporate Finance Senior Analyst - VR/30319

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Senior Analyst to join a dynamic Corporate Finance Team.

   

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the industry’s leading players in corporate finance, offering exposure to high-profile projects in M&A advisory, business valuations, and financial restructuring. The successful candidate will support Associates, Vice Presidents, and Directors in delivering critical financial solutions to clients across multiple sectors, including both conventional and renewable energy.

      

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to client management by participating in meetings and conference calls.
  • Assisting in preparing descriptive memoranda as part of the sale process.
  • Supporting the creation of pitch books and business valuation documents.
  • Developing financial models to assist in the valuation of businesses and structuring of deals.
  • Helping arrange debt and equity finance for acquisitions and financial restructuring.
  • Coordinating key aspects of both the buy-side and sell-side processes.
  • Providing feedback on project status and recommend solutions for any challenges.
  • Managing Analysts and coordinate deal administration.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintain proper documentation.
  • Leading meetings and provide feedback to enhance the performance and development of reporting staff.
  • Promoting a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement within the team.

            

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of MS Office, in particular application of Excel.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting practices and financial analysis.
  • Experience in interpretation of company balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, historical and projected figures.
  • Existing understanding or desire to learn of oil and gas market trends and ability to present relevant data.
  • Experience in utilising comparable transactions and comparable companies to generate valuation multiples.
  • Understanding of financial modelling and financial analysis techniques such as IRRs and NPVs.
  • Experience in valuation assessments and understanding of banking and institutional covenants.
