You will support and guide the business in customs special procedures in accordance with HMRC Guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining accurate records of goods imported and assisting with submission of Bills of Discharge to HMRC to meet deadlines.
• Managing third party approved vendors in line with current Inward Processing Authorisation.
• Ensuring ongoing compliance across the UK Business Units to meet requirements of the company’s customs approvals.
• Preparing and supporting of external audits as required by HMRC.
• Knowledge of commodity codes.
• Managing customs clearance for equipment being imported into IP or any other customs procedure.
• Managing customs clearance for equipment being re-exported out of IP or any other customs procedure.
• Knowledge of FTA.
• Knowledge of Origin and Preference.
• Post entry audit checks required.
• Issuing letters of instruction to customs brokers for IP shipments.
