This role will support the comprehensive, accurate, timely recording, collation and preparation of financial information with full responsibility for the day to day management and performance of the UKEC Finance Team including cash management, receivables collections and supplier payments, asset utilisation and inventory optimisation. 

Reporting to the VP Finance this is an unrivalled opportunity for someone to partner with the business in respect of creating and delivering the regional strategy and business plan in addition to assisting with acquisition assessment and post-acquisition integration.  First class opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong controllership experience to interface with a range of senior stakeholders.  

Experience and Requirements

• Excellent technical accounting knowledge and keeping up to date with the latest accounting standards.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal.
• Good system skills including excel to a high level (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, nested formulas).
• Dynamic, strategic thinker.
• First-rate analytical skills, with the ability to present findings to people across departments.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
• Excellent at building relationships and working with other teams.
• Professional qualification is essential (ACCA/CIMA/ICAS or equivalent)
• Proficient user of Microsoft Excel.
• Previous demonstrable experience in a similar role. Oil and gas/energy industry experience is preferable but not essential.
