Opening for a Financial Reporting Manager, a newly created position with a leading energy services company. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in management reporting primarily responsible for the legal entity and consolidated statutory reporting. Candidates will be fully qualified with UK GAAP and IFRS experience.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Complex Statutory and Consolidated Accounts: Managing the delivery of complex statutory and consolidated accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Process and Systems Reviews: Undertaking reviews to enhance reporting efficiency and streamline processes.
Collaboration: Liaising with auditors, professionals, and internal teams to meet deadlines and maintain strong relationships.
Technical Expertise: Staying up-to-date with regulatory requirements (UK GAAP, IFRS) and maintaining a deep understanding of consolidated accounts and disclosures.

Applicants to this role require:

Professional accounting qualification (i.e. CIMA/ACCA/ACA) .
Experience with UK GAAP and IFRS.
Be detail-oriented, organised, and focused on quality.
Ability to work using own initiative and to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to interact with internal staff at all levels of the business.
