Logistics Administrator - VR/29192
Logistics Administrator is required on a permanent basis for an offshore energy company based in Dyce.
You are required to provide support to the Logistics Coordinator in their role of importing and exporting of all goods, in compliance with customs.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring completion of accurate customs records for HMRC review.
- Filing and archiving company documents and records.
- Maintaining a good relationship with freight forwarders to ensure best level of service.
- Completing commercial invoices – adding commodity codes, country of origins, values, weights. This will require a hands on, proactive approach to find the missing data.
- Liaising with other departments.
- Entering data into Client database system.
Applicants to this role require:
- Experience of material logistics in the offshore oil and gas industry preferable.
- Experience of working with electronic purchasing systems advantageous.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good numerical, analytical, and organisational skills, ability to manage workload and carry out tasks with little or no supervision.
