Currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance & Integrity Team Leader on a permanent staff basis for an E&P company based in central Aberdeen. This role will involve occasional offshore travel - therefore applicants must be prepared to work offshore.

     

The post holder will have primary responsibility for maintenance, structural, marine and process system integrity management.  You will manage a multi-disciplined team, vendor focal points and third parties to effectively plan, resource and execute maintenance and integrity activities in a safe and compliant manner.  You will work closely with the Asset Onshore and Offshore Teams to ensure effective arrangements are in place for maintenance and integrity management. 

     

This is a key operated assets leadership position within the company, and the Maintenance and Integrity Team Leader will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Leading the Asset Maintenance and Integrity Team in delivering against all HSE targets and demonstrates commitment to incident free operations.
  • Accounting for the delivery of offshore maintenance activities to protect the health, safety and welfare of the people on operated assets.
  • Maintaining and ensuring compliance with life of field maintenance and integrity strategies for the assets.
  • Responsible for major accident hazard management, in particular the prevention, detection, control, mitigation and response to major accidents. This shall include leadership support for operational risk assessments, assurance work order deferrals, HAZOP’s, HAZID’s, RCA and incident investigations.
  • Responsible for the rigorous application of applicable engineering codes, standards, practices and design guides for integrity activities.
  • Responsible for the management of anomalies, Ros, temporary repairs, and risk registers.
  • Accounting for the delivery of work programs, ensuring they are correctly prioritised and resourced (labour and equipment) and that they meet asset safety critical and business objectives.
  • Responsible for the company’s CMMS strategy, management of the integrated service contractor and the effective use of the maintenance management system (Maximo), to demonstrate compliance with asset verification scheme, maintenance of all safety and business critical equipment, managing backlog key performance indicators (KPI’s) and an audit trail for the regulatory authorities.
  • Responsible for SECE maintenance delivery and performance standard compliance based on the assurance routine deliverables.
  • Monitoring, reviewing, and driving performance improvement of maintenance and integrity management systems, processes and practices.
  • Ensuring all maintenance documentation to be sufficient and current within the business management system (for example, ensuring performance standards and PMRs are current for offshore use).
  • Supervising the Marine Team to ensure Class and Verification actions are being managed effectively.
  • Developing and managing maintenance and integrity budget.
  • Responsible for the effective inspection, certification and management of PSVs, FHAs, SBT and Ex. Maintenance.
  • Responsible for team input into 28-day, 8Q and 5 yearly plans and ensuring planning process and gate criteria are complied with.
  • Managing Maintenance and Integrity Team KPI targets and driving SMART actions to meet these targets.
  • QPR management for tier 1 and key contractors.  
  • Providing input into equipment root cause analysis and loss reporting.
  • Supporting incident investigations.

      

Experience/Qualifications:

  • A Degree qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline would be preferred.
  • Chartered Engineer status would be preferred.
  • Current/valid offshore certification would be preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, directly within the North Sea Oil and Gas industry, is essential.
  • Significant experience in an operator organisation with duty holder and operated assets is essential.
  • Applicants should have major accident hazard management experience, as well as knowledge of key safety legislation and regulations.
  • Operating, integrity and maintenance experience on process and marine plant is essential.
  • Applicants should have experience with maintenance planning, organisation, coordination and control/monitoring across a range of disciplines.
  • Experience with maintenance management systems is essential.
  • Experience with risk management processes and root cause analysis is essential.
