Reporting directly to the Financial Controller.

Duties will include:

• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Providing detailed financial and management reports to improve decision-making, aligning with group standards and statutory requirements.
• Forecasting and Budgeting: Preparing forecasts and budgets for assigned entities, ready for Financial Controller review.
• Cash and Tax Management: Overseeing cash management and forecasting and assist in the preparation of corporation tax packs and VAT returns.
• Control and Compliance: Ensuring the integrity of nominal ledgers and enhance financial controls to meet business objectives.
• Operational Support: Producing cost and margin analysis, labour analysis, and R&D spend monitoring to support operational decisions.
• Systems and Process Improvement: Contributing to ongoing accounting system improvements.

The ideal applicant will have experience in a similar role with exposure to international intercompany entities and reconciliations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Accountant or actively pursuing a professional accountancy qualification.
• Degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• Proven experience in management accounting or a similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft D365.
