Temporary opportunity to support an Aberdeen-based oil and gas service company as a Payroll Assistant. This position is full-time hours and offers the possibility of hybrid working. Overview Job Description:
Reporting to the UK Head of Finance, you will assist the Payroll Officer with the administration of monthly payrolls.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and updating employee payroll records, including entering information for new hires.
- Implementing changes to tax codes and manage deductions for postgraduate and student loans.
- Calculating overseas earnings and associated taxes.
- Recording statutory leave information.
- Updating holiday accrual spreadsheets and handle related payments.
- Managing year-end payroll processes for both UK and International operations.
- Addressing payroll-related inquiries.
- Processing employee departures and upload P45 forms.
- Ensuring timely processing of company credit card receipts and reconcile statements, including accruing unprocessed receipts.
- Performing any additional tasks as assigned by the Payroll Officer or Finance Shared Services Operations Manager.
