Project Cost Controller - VR/30575

Permanent opportunity available for experienced Project Cost Controller. In this position, you will play a central role in cost performance reporting and forecasting, ensuring project budgets are effectively managed from setup to completion.

   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining a project coding structure and ensure the full utilisation of cost control systems.
  • Analysing project scope, managing cost reports, and monitoring progress to provide timely forecasts and insights.
  • Collaborating with budget owners to track commitments and reconcile forecasted versus actual expenditures.
  • Producing detailed monthly reports and short- and long-term cash flow projections.
  • Acting as the main liaison with Parent Project Cost Controllers, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
  • Continuously seeking process improvements, challenging the status quo to add value to ongoing projects.

           

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree-qualified in cost management, project management, or finance; part-qualified towards CIMA/ACCA is desirable.
  • Proven experience in cost control across projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) with working knowledge of SAP or similar systems being advantageous.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • A team player who builds strong working relationships and thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business and adapt to a culturally diverse team.
