Duties:

• Working with the QHSE Department to set up the QC Department.
• Driving the goods in process to ensure components delivered meet stated requirements.
• Inspecting products against engineering drawings to assess whether products meet required quality standards.
• First article inspections, including documented inspection reports.
• Creating NCRs and log through relevant system.
• Working with internal departments to prioritise workload based on client demand.
• Managing controlled quarantine area and non-conforming products.
• Supplier visits to witness manufacturing progress and inspections prior to release to.
• Responsible for ensuring all equipment is calibrated and recorded as required.
• Participating as required in any internal and external audits.
• Assisting with packaging and shipping of equipment.
• Assisting with the above tasks for the sister company.
• Adhering to all policies and procedures.
• To carry out other duties as required.

Job Knowledge and Experience:

• Understanding complex manufacturing drawings.
• Understanding of inspection best practices.
• Experience using hand measuring equipment and reporting.
• Experienced within ISO 9001.
• Competent in Microsoft products including Word and Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure where necessary.
• Minimum 2 years in similar inspection role.
