Sales and Customer Service Executive - VR/29383
Sales and Customer Service Executive required to join our client in Dyce on a fulltime, permanent basis. In your role, you’ll seek and secure new business opportunities whilst maintaining and developing the current customer base.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identifying sales opportunities and converting new business.
- Maintaining and developing existing customers through regular planned meetings.
- Responding to and following up on any sales leads in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensuring sales activities and processes are in line with all relevant compliance.
- Developing sales plan and prioritising appropriately to deliver business objectives and achieve KPI’s.
- Delivering on client satisfaction and service excellence.
- Delivering effective sales presentations to prospective customers.
- Maintaining and reporting all relevant customer information on CRM system.
- Monitoring and reporting on market and competitor activities.
- Liaising with operations personnel to identify customer service issues and address appropriately.
- Working collaboratively across the business to maximise sales opportunities.
- Attending meetings and business seminars as requested by the Line Manager.
- Meeting and exceeding company standard expectations in relation to call rate and pipeline KPI’s.
- Ensuring credit worthiness of customers to ensure they are suitable to do business with and assist with credit control.
Our client is seeking a candidate with the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- Experience of generating new business opportunities and relationship management within freight forwarding/logistics.
- Demonstratable experience of implementing sales strategies to meet short term and long-term opportunities.
- Competent with liaising at customer board level.
- Fully proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
