Our client is seeking a SAP S4 Project Analyst to join their team on an initial 12 month basis in Westhill, Aberdeen. The successful candidate will have experience developing project plans and managing risks and dependencies as well as detailed knowledge of SAP S4/Hana and third party S4/Hana applications.

   

The company is embarking on a SAP S4 Transformation programme which involves replacing the current ECC solution with SAP S4 Hana together with the associated business process changes across finance, SCM and asset management.

         

The transformation will be a multi-year programme following a Greenfield, fit to standard approach. The strategic aim is to deliver a globally standard set of processes and associated data through the modern S4 application leading to improved efficiency and operation of the business and providing valuable business insights from increased visualisation, analytics, and automation.

           

The company will engage a Service Integrator (SI) and change management organisation to work with our IT and Business Teams to design, build, test and deploy this business transformation programme.

    

The SAP S4 Project Analyst role will perform a key role in the design, build, test and deployment of third party application interfaces. The candidate will require to work closely with Project Team personnel, delivery partners and key business stakeholders.

         

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating vendor activities associated with third party application integrations required for the SAP S4 Transformation programme.
  • Supporting the design, build and test of third-party application integrations to SAP S4/HANASupport and the deployment of third party application integrations to SAP S4/HANA for multi-region deployments.
  • Performing status reporting and risk/issue management.
  • Coordinating inputs to the SAP S4/HANA cutover plan for third party application interfaces.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships through effective communication and issue resolution to ensure stakeholders are engaged throughout.
  • Coordinating and performing reviews of project documentation throughout the programme lifecycle.

           

Person Specification

  • Experienced in developing project plans including managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • The ability to coordinate and chair forums that will aid the governance and execution of the project plan.
  • Experience in providing status reports on deliverables and progress against the plan.
  • Solid organisational and planning skills with an eye for detail.
  • Working knowledge of each of the phases in the lifecycle of a large programme delivery.
  • Experience of collaborating with a solution integration partner and/or multiple delivery partners to achieve a project deliverable/outcome.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills and can interface across a spectrum of stakeholders.
  • Pro-active, self-driven, collaborative, good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Should be able to work independently.
  • SAP experience is beneficial, but not mandatory.
