Senior Cost Analyst - VR/30049
A leading energy company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Analyst to join their team on an ongoing contract basis. This critical role involves providing estimating, budgeting, cost control, and high-level planning support.
The successful applicant will play an essential part in the development and monitoring of budgets, analysis of actual expenditure, forecasting future spend, and challenging costs at every stage.
Requirements:
- Degree holder and qualified accountant (CIMA preferred).
- Experience in the oil industry within a business, commercial, or finance environment.
- Strong understanding of technical operations in the oil and gas industry.
- Excellent analytical skills with knowledge of financial analysis techniques and economic measures.
- Experience in budget preparation, cost control, and planning in a large organisation.
- Knowledge of accounting and reporting standards.
- Proficient in SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint.
