As the Senior HSE Advisor, you will have the following main duties and responsibilities:

• Ensuring that our continued registration to ISO 9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 are not compromised in any way.
• Carrying out planned internal HSE Audits to ensure compliance with the requirements of the procedures and current legislative requirements.
• Ensuring that all new personnel are given induction training and, where necessary, refresher training on the requirements of the HSE Integrated Management System.
• Participating in the emergency response process as and when required and ensure that any lessons learned are incorporated into the HSE Management System.
• Preparing all necessary information for presentation during the planned HSE Management review meetings.
• Ensuring that the HSE Manager is immediately notified of any HSE issues which cannot be readily resolved.
• Undertaking incident investigations and root cause analysis, developing action plans and ensure compliance with these.
• In conjunction with the HSE Manager ensure that there is a progressive improvement in the HSE Management System.
• To interpret and ensure compliance with all legislation relevant to the business undertaking and job function.

Required experience:

• Proven ability in Leading complex client projects in the oil and gas industry.
• Excellent stakeholder Leadership skills.
• Strong communicator and proven ability to deliver results across a complex group of internal, and external, stakeholders.
• Proven experience in oil and gas operations, projects, and turnarounds.
