Currently recruiting for an experienced Subsea Integrity Engineer on an on-going contract basis for an oil and gas client based in Aberdeen. It is anticipated that the contract duration will be long-term.

The Subsea Integrity Engineer will have the following duties / responsibilities:

  • Delivering the Subsea Integrity Management System, including Risk Assessments, Corrosion Assessments, Inspection Plans and Annual Reviews.
  • Managing the subsea inspection plans.
  • Reviewing impact of anomalies and making any recommendations for remedial work.
  • Maintaining pipeline management documentation for assets or supports wider team in review and updating.
  • Participating in onshore / offshore operational Risk Assessments.
  • Managing the Integrity Data Management System (IDMS).
  • Ensuring ‘topside pipeline components’ within the WMS have appropriate PMRs and frequency for their service.
  • Developing subsea integrity management system documentation for any new assets.
  • Reviewing upcoming integrity work and aligns resources to meet business needs.
  • Focal point for regulator for Pipeline Works Authorisations (PWA) and Deposit Consents (DepCon).
  • Supporting any pipeline engineering work.
  • Supporting delivery of overall operational pipeline internal corrosion management.
  • Preparing pipeline section for Integrity Management Team (IMT) meetings.
  • Developing cost estimates for work packages for approval, obtaining third party input where necessary.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Previous and recent experience in an Integrity Engineer role is essential.
  • Extensive experience / knowledge of integrity management systems and Regulatory requirements relating to pipeline management is essential for this position.
  • Direct experience of working with an Operator within a similar role would be preferred.
  • An Engineering Degree qualification would be preferred.
  • Although the role will be predominately onshore-based, there will be a requirement to work offshore on occasion so applicants must be prepared to work offshore.
