In this role, you will support Buyers in purchasing materials, equipment and services to ensure the best value.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining supplier relationships.
- Gaining experience in negotiating contracts and pricing agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborating with teams to ensure timely availability of materials, preventing costly operational delays.
- Ensuring all purchases comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including ISO standards.
- Working alongside departments to ensure materials meet requirements.
- Using ERP tools to manage procurement records and track supplier performance using ERP tools.
- Placing and expediting Purchase Orders in line with company procedures to maximise on-time delivery.
- Resolving Supplier invoice queries with other departments.
